When I started to travel with tourists, it turned out that there were no bus drivers. So I got my license to drive buses and, by the way, also trucks, because I’ve always liked big cars. And I loved driving. But I never thought that I would have to skate on ice at the end of the world ;).
When summer arrived, and with it the low tourist season, I started looking for a job as a truck driver. I found her at Bring og Posten – where I was delivering mail to post offices. Then I worked at Bring Transportløsninger, where I transported practically everything between the company’s branches. Sometimes I was on the road for three days, but most of the time I worked at night and finished my shift in the morning. The longest route I covered was 740 km and I had to cover it in 10 hours.
